TestChip Builder Foundry Process Development
Complete Test Chip Layout System -- Silicon Insight - TestChipBuilder offers a complete, integrated, graphically driven system for test structure generation. TestChipBuilder can automatically vary the geometries from a library of devices types or from completely customizable structures defined using our unique Javascript-based template building capabilities. The devices can automatically be included within a user configurable pad ring. The resulting test chip can be automatically routed using controlled wiring attributes. Test chips can automatically be updated to reflect changes to DRC rules. The generated structures can be stored as hierarchical GDS2. Contact names are automatically assigned to facilitate test plan development. Linking between test results and test structure layout is automatically created and maintained by the Silicon Insight data handler.

DesignRule Builder Foundry Process Development
Automated Layout Design Rule & DRC Run Set Generation -- Silicon Insight - DesignRuleBuilder enables rapid, automated calculation, generation and documentation of layout design rules. Complete DRC / LVS run sets for a variety of DRC tools can be generated automatically from these rules. Rules intelligently incorporate information on unit process manufacturing capabilities (such as inter-layer alignment tolerances and unit process variations) and electrical constraints. Maximize yield by automatically including process variability factors in layout design rule values. Easily regenerate complete DRC / LVS run sets as unit process capabilities or electrical constraints change. Change effortlessly from one DRC / LVS tool to another. ProcessFlow Manager Foundry Process Development
Management system for Process Modules and Flows -- Silicon Insight ProcessFlowManager provides a convenient tool for review of process flow details in a hierachical viewer that lets you drill down to the needed level of detail for process steps of interest while shielding unnecessary details from other process steps. ProcessFlowManager also provides a process management level view that provides module usage and process staus indications in a convenient filterable table. Experiment Builder Foundry Process Development
Experiment Design & Definition -- Silicon Insight - ExperimentBuilder enables the rapid definition of split lot experiments with reference to a baseline process flow. Experiments are defined with a familiar matrix editor and are stored in the Silicon Insight database for analysis, alongside future electrical test results. Split details are automatically linked with experimental parameters and test structures.

TestPlan Manager Foundry Process Development
Automated Test Plan Creation -- Silicon Insight TestPlanManager automates test plan creation and eliminates time consuming and error-prone hand coding of test plans. TestPlanManager retrieves information about test chips created by either TestChipBuilder or externally produced. TestPlanManager then creates any needed device instances within the Silicon Insight database and presents the devices and their parameters to the user in a tabular form. The user can then select from libraries of available tests and apply these to one or more devices. The tests can be grouped for convenience and flows such as complete or reduced test flows can be stored within the Silicon Insight database. Once the desired flows have been created, TestPlanManager will automatically create test plans that can be run on standard test equipment.
